Title: Data Entry Specialist II

Duration: 12 months

Location: Duluth, GA (potential to be converted to FTE at/around 6 months pending performance)


- Shift: Thursday to Monday, 8am - 4:30pm (Tuesdays and Wednesdays off)

- The role will be in office all 5 days, Thursday to Monday.

- Training Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (roughly 1 month of training before transitioning to shift details, above)

About our Team

Claims Record Unit (CRU) is a division of client, which is the industry leader of procuring Law Enforcement records nationwide. Insurance carriers use these records to aide in the adjudication of claims. We process 8 million requests annually and foster business relationships with agencies to streamline and improve processes. CRU is the single point of contact for our customers and utilizes multiple resources and platforms across the U.S, Canada, and P.R. Our teams are located in Duluth, Ga. and the Philippines.

About the Role

Demonstrates a conceptual understanding of the procurement of records for insurance purposes. Applies this understanding in the performance of routine and recurring assignments such as reviewing, compiling, acquiring, organizing, and maintaining records. Position requires occasional holiday availability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing incoming responses from police agencies.
  • Researching and reviews request and police records information from websites, various internal and external databases.
  • Fulfilling, editing, and modifying request for police records to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Performing additional research as required to meet customer expectations and demonstrates ability to meet and exceed established departmental goals.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Requiring some sedentary and physical labor.


Requirements

  • Demonstrate ability to lift 40lbs., comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time, if necessary
  • Experience in Criminal Justice, Insurance Claims, Call Center and /or police departments is a plus.
  • Must be available to work on weekends. This is a 40 hour work week, and 16 of those hours will be on the weekends.
  • Available on some holidays.
  • Position will be Thursday-Monday, 8AM-4:30PM. Employee will have Tuesday and Wednesday off.
  • Possess a HS Diploma required.

Our work plays a vital role in supporting the claims process by ensuring adjusters receive the necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner. By managing this aspect of the claim's workflow, we help enhance operational efficiency and contribute to a better customer experience. We partner with a broad range of insurance companies, including State Farm, Nationwide, USAA, Travelers, Progressive, and others, playing a key role in streamlining their claims operations.\

2. What does your interview process look like? (How many interviews? What will the interview look like, such as phone, in person, panel - how many members, etc)?

  • Our typical interview process consists of a single, in-person interview. Each session is conducted face-to-face and typically involves one to two members of our leadership team. Interviews are scheduled for approximately 30 minutes. During this time, we ask a series of questions aimed at evaluating both technical competencies and alignment with our company culture.
