**About the Role**

You will be at the heart of our design process, responsible for translating fashion trends into original concepts that define style, color, and fabric direction. Your work will directly shape the aesthetic and functionality of products, from initial sketches to final presentations. You'll collaborate closely with sourcing and materials development teams, ensuring your creative vision is brought to life with quality and precision. This role offers the chance to see your designs evolve from concept to consumer, playing a pivotal part in product development and market success.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Create original design concepts, encompassing style, color, and fabric, by interpreting current fashion trends.

* Produce detailed sketches and develop seasonal presentations of proposed designs.

* Analyze fashion trends to inform and inspire new collections.

* Partner effectively with sourcing and materials development teams to ensure design integrity and feasibility.

* Provide basic fit and body block information and participate in fit sessions to refine product execution.

**Qualifications**

**Must-Have Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent practical experience.

* 8-10 years of related design experience.

* Demonstrated experience in design specifically focused on children's or baby-related products.

* Strong digital design skills.

* Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

* Experience utilizing AI-supported design tools.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications**

* Print design background.

* Experience working with established retail brands.

**Role Details**

This is a part-time contract role, offering 30 hours per week for an initial 3-month period with potential for extension. We are looking for someone who can start immediately.
