Job Description:

Come be part of the team that bridges the gap between technical engineering teams and strategic mission goals of the U.S Navy.

The Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day execution of multi-million dollar contracts, ensuring they meet strict performance, cost and schedule targets. The Program Management on the NAWCAD Mission System Network team will ensure program execution, contract management and client relationships with senior level Navy Stakeholders. Will coordinate technical projects, manage costs and schedule for Navy programs and integrating advanced technologies. Oversees multiple departments ensuring cross-competency teams. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Has acquired the business acumen and leadership experience to become a top function or division head.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of public or private organizations.
• Oversee multiple departments, locations, and efforts of cross-competency teams.
• Manage staff and optimize workflows to ensure efficiency.
• Experience synchronizing client business schedules across large program portfolios.
• Facilitate technical interchange meetings and program management reviews for senior Navy leadership.
• Analyze supplier capabilities and negotiating cost reductions to ensure critical component delivery.
• Identify potential bottlenecks, manage safety regulations, and implement quality control measures to safeguard sensitive classified assets.
• Create and present high-level technical briefs, including congressional and flag-level reports on program status and risk.

Here's what you need:

• 10+ years' experience managing large, complex engineering contracts vehicles of a similar man-hour size or larger
• 10+ years' experience providing executive level communications to senior leadership.
• 5-10 years experience in DoD programs or operations managment, specifically within NAVAIR or NASEA enironments.
• Experience with Navy/NAVAIR programs

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Relevant experience in large IT contract program management
• Experience working with NAVAIR/NAVSEA/NAWCAD
• PMP
• Mission System Network Engineering experience

Security Clearance:

• DoD Top Secret

Education:

• Master's degree in technical, IT, or management discipline

Work Schedule:

• Standard, Monday-Friday

Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $147,500- 172,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
