Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. You will operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment. You will report to an Operations Planning Manager and work onsite in Springdale, PA.

This is a non-exempt (eligible for OT) position with a salary of $43,600.

Key Responsibilities

• Use fork truck to move drums/totes/pallets of chemicals

• Pour samples of chemicals to distribute to labs.

• Preassembles chemical for use in production batches, verifying quantities and shelf life.

• Unload tank wagons of chemicals

• Unload inbound raw materials.

• Labels and puts them away.

• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required

• 1+ year of experience

• Safely operate material handling equipment (fork truck/pallet jack/etc.)

• Able and willing to wear a respirator and other PPE

• Basic computer operation skills

• Be able to complete outdoor work in all weather

• Work as a team and be able to work unsupervised

Preferred

• Previous fork truck experience

• Previous shipping experience

• ERP experience

• DOT certification/or willingness to get it.

• Interest in advancing in a shipping/receiving role
