Are you a current law student looking for an exciting summer opportunity? Savvas Learning Company is seeking bright, motivated undergraduate students to join us for our dynamic 8-week Legal internship in Chandler, AZ or Paramus, NJ. You will join us for eight weeks and gain valuable experience within the educational publishing industry.

Savvas' nationwide Legal Department handles a wide range of corporate legal matters and is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented law student for its 2026 in-house summer legal internship. As a summer intern for Savvas' Legal Department, you will work closely with attorneys on a range of legal matters. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, supporting HR, Data Privacy, and Security compliance projects such as 50-state surveys, third-party vendor audits, and drafting summary memoranda. You will also prepare presentations on key findings and review contract terms, collaborating on potential revisions to customer and vendor agreements. Additionally, you may assist with reviewing author agreements, drafting amendments, and summarizing agreements for various company departments.


The intern will gain hands-on experience with real-world commercial and legal challenges faced by a major corporate legal department. This includes exposure to critical issues in intellectual property, government compliance, litigation, data privacy, employment law, product development, AI governance, and other key legal areas shaping Savvas' business operations.


This paid position will run full-time, and will be primarily based out of either our Chandler, AZ, or Paramus, NJ offices, however remote work is likely. Normal business hours are generally Monday - Friday 9 - 5pm.

Qualifications:



  • Candidates must be current law students at an accredited U.S. law school with a strong academic record.
  • Successful applicants will demonstrate exceptional research and writing skills, technical proficiency, and strong analytical and organizational abilities. Attention to detail, discretion in handling confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively are essential.
