The Opportunity: IT Governance & Compliance Analyst

*This is a remote opportunity, but the ideal candidate should reside in either the EST or CST time zones.

The IT Governance and Compliance Analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving system processes to enhance governance and compliance across the technology ecosystem. This position also aids in the support of integration, change control, and user/system acceptance testing activities.

What You'll Do:



  • Establish new and maintain existing processes for Change Advisory Board activities including leading, maintaining, and governance of CAB processes and meetings.
  • Accurately ensure all change requests follow standard processes and maintain SOX compliance throughout.
  • Respond to SOX audit requests in timely fashion, participate in audit exception remediation efforts.
  • Modify, correct, and maintain existing business processes while centralizing on new CAB process.
  • Investigate and practice new techniques to satisfy any changes necessary for process improvements.
  • Serve as lead, system administrator for Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Lead/Support CAB reviews, user acceptance testing, training, and post go-live support.
  • Understand and participate in proper source control, repository management, and change cycle management.
  • Report out and maintain notification of system activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintains appropriate configuration and system documentation.
  • Prepare communications/reports for distribution to tech stakeholders for both planned and unplanned outages.
  • Support timekeeping process and reporting for IT resources both internal and third party.
  • Works with management and fellow associates to ensure enterprise programs and initiatives are followed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned that will impact and support the overall outcome of the company and department objectives.
  • Maintains familiarity with current technologies to support the needs of the enterprise as they occur.


What You Bring:

Education & Experience:



  • Needs 2-4 years of related experience and one of the 3 listed below:

    • Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University




OR



  • Advanced Certification and 2 years of experience


OR



  • Equivalent combination of education and experience


  • Experience applying Change Control principles and project management concepts to application development projects and sprints in a setting where SOX compliance is a requirement.


Skills:

Technical Skills



  • Experience with system administration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Platform, Microsoft Lifecycle Services, Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services is a plus
  • Experience with source/version control technologies including Git, TFVC, Bitbucket, Github, Azure DevOps, or related repositories and management frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience with administration of ITSM (service desk ticketing system) such as FreshService, ServiceNow, etc

  • Analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a positive customer service orientation with both internal and external clients.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated and have a desire to continually learn as they go.


Certificates & Licenses:



  • SOX, ITIL, ISACA certifications a plus
