Whether you're leading simulator sessions or pre-flight briefings, you'll inspire trust and mastery for the moments that matter Job Description:
- Deliver classroom instruction, ground school, and flight simulator training for the King Air series (300/350, 200, 90).
- Conduct customer training using flight training devices, LevelC/LevelD simulators, and standardized curricula.
- Evaluate customer performance and ensure alignment with Simcom by CAE training standards, learning objectives, and FAA requirements.
- Maintain instructional competency, technical accuracy, and authorized instructor qualifications.
- Apply strong instructional techniques, adult learning principles, and scenariobased training methods.
- Demonstrate proficiency in King Air systems, procedures, performance, abnormal operations, and emergency procedures.
- Assess customer needs and provide tailored coaching to support successful skill acquisition.
- Demonstrate ability to learn new systems and platforms, including CAE training software, learning management systems (LMS), and updated simulation technology.
- Maintain a professional, customerfocused learning environment and ensure accurate documentation of training events.
- Perform additional duties as required to support training operations and customer experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
- Occasionally move into various positions in different environments, including confined spaces.
- Remain stationary for extended periods, either seated or standing.
- Occasionally move about to accomplish tasks.
- Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current CFI and CFII certifications (Flight Instructor and Instrument Instructor).
- 1000 hours dual instruction given.
- King Air flight experience in 300/350, 200, or 90 series.
- Commercial Pilot Certificate.
- Availability 5-10 days per month, with flexibility for additional days as needed.
- Ability to meet all listed physical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA ATP highly preferred.
- FAA Medical preferred.
- Experience delivering SIM training, ground school, or equivalent structured aviation instruction.
- Experience with King Air training operations, advanced simulation systems, or check airman/standardization roles.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms, digital recordkeeping, and training compliance systems.
