The Opportunity
We are seeking aCADD Leadwho will oversee the Renewables Civil Department workflows, design and documentation standards within Civil 3D. The position involves actively engaging in user groups, developing best practices and assisting in creating and managing client standards. This role includes training, mentoring, and onboarding new employees. Additionally, the position will continue to support project work within their existing team, using their strong technical skills and the ability to resolve issues to deliver high-quality projects for our clients.

Software



  • Actively seeks opportunities to share & learn software from peers.
  • Assists with the creation, implementation and management of internal CAD standards (title blocks, layers, blocks, styles, profiles, etc.).
  • Promotes the creation and integration of efficiency tools to increase effectiveness in the project delivery process.
  • Maintain, create, and update project templates and profiles.


Standards



  • Near-expert level understanding of internal and renewable industry standards.
  • Trains others on using and interpreting renewable industry standards.
  • Assist with the development of standards and best practices to ensure project consistency across all teams and offices.


Training



  • Helps resolve technical or coordination issues on team.
  • Mentor peers on drafting best practices.
  • Create training documentation and material for ease of adoption across all offices.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, and workshops related to design technology to incorporate learning into company processes and training.
  • Collaborate with the Renewables Civil Department leadership team, the Digital Design team, and IT to ensure that we meet industry design requirements.



Who you are


  • Associate's or Bachelor's in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in utilizing AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Renewables market.

  • Ability to seek out and resolve issues through close interaction with other project team members.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver positive outcomes on projects.

  • Strong computer, technical, and communication skills are required.

  • Ability to listen to and solicit feedback from peers and technical teams to collaboratively resolve issues and drive positive change.

  • Good communication and training skills (verbal and written).

  • Teaching and coaching skills to bring new team members up to speed.

  • Demonstrate skills of self-motivation and drive.

  • Must have permanent authorization to work in US.

  • Ability to be agile in an innovative, fast-paced, growing company.

  • Ability to motivate, lead, and positively engage with staff and team.

    Additional Opportunity Details:Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $62,500 - $84,600* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
