About This Role

This position monitors and oversees the administration of the day-to-day operations of the assigned area of responsibility related to an administrative and managerial function. Provides direction and communication to support the department/unit. Conducts assessments in order to design improvements to department programs. Works to ensure that staff and students have an understanding of programs that are available.

Worksite Description

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and seven years of relevant experience. *Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote the organization's mission and vision.
  • Experience with human resources administration.
  • Experience supervising and leading others.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system.
  • Experience in higher education.
  • Ability to initiate and maintain professional relationships with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, to work collaboratively and to garner the trust of others.
  • Experience leading strategic staffing planning and initiatives for a unit.
  • Experience supervising and leading others.
