Whether you're leading simulator sessions or pre-flight briefings, you'll inspire trust and mastery for the moments that matter. Job Description:
- Deliver classroom instruction, instrument ground trainer sessions, simulator training, and flight training activities.
- Conduct ground and simulator training for students at SIMCOM.
- Evaluate trainees' progress and ensure they meet SIMCOM training standards.
- Maintain instructional competency, required qualifications, and professional conduct.
- Demonstrate strong instructional knowledge and adapt effectively in a dynamic learning environment.
- Learn and apply new skills that impact training product quality and value.
- Assess customer training needs and provide effective coaching and instruction.
- Apply creative and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning.
- Attain required ratings and qualifications efficiently and within company standards.
- Maximize training value through efficient use of time and company resources.
- Personalize and tailor instruction to meet customer needs and learning objectives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment.
- Support SIMCOM's 24/7 operational schedule; training assignments may occur at any time with compensatory time off provided per policy.
- Serve as a primary point of customer interaction; demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making consistent with company mission and strategy.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
- Occasionally move into various positions in different environments, including confined spaces.
- Remain stationary for extended periods, either seated or standing.
- Occasionally move about to accomplish tasks.
- Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- FAA medical.
- Current CFI and CFII certifications.
- 1500 total flight hours.
- 1000 hours dual given.
- 500 hours turboprop experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays based on training demand.
- Ability to meet all listed physical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA ATP.
- Airline or glass cockpit experience.
