Now Hiring: Armed Protection Officers - Premier Corporation | Downtown Chicago

Allied Universal is seeking elite, highly disciplined security professionals to serve as Armed Custom Protection Officers at a premier corporate headquarters in Downtown Chicago.

This is a high-profile, mission-critical assignment where professionalism, presence, and judgment matter as much as tactical skill.

Officers in this role represent the highest standard of armed security-calm, confident, and polished in a fast-moving, customer-facing environment. This position is ideal for professionals who take pride in their appearance, communication, and decision-making, and who thrive in roles that demand discretion, accountability, and excellence every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Provide armed security and emergency response
  • Support local executive protection and event security operations
  • Concierge services
  • Serve as a first responder for security incidents and medical emergencies
  • Interact with local law enforcement officers
  • Deliver high-level customer service to employees, executives, and visitors
  • Identify and report safety or security concerns
  • Perform foot patrols, respond to incidents, and manage access control
  • Work within a coordinated, well-structured protection program

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • Must be 21+
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Credible military, police, corrections, public safety, or private security experience of three or more years
  • Exceptional decision-making skills: ability to operate effectively under pressure.
  • Discretion and integrity; trusted to handle sensitive information.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening (as permitted by law)
  • Must be willing and able to obtain a valid Concealed Carry Permit upon hire or currently possess one
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
    • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
    • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice-related studies
    • A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
    • Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
    • Professional appearance and demeanor; physically fit

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Degree in an area of study relevant to this position
  • U.S. military service in a combat arms or military police/security forces capacity
  • Certification or training in security management, firearms, executive protection, etc.
