Job Description




As a Security Officer - Hospital Morgue Monitor in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities include monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and providing excellent customer service while assisting with security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Greet and screen all individuals entering the healthcare location, following site-specific screening protocols and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and policies specific to the healthcare environment.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items from entering the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns if needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activity and any incidents that occur during the shift.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and patients to provide information and assistance as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and healthcare staff to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable working in hospital morgue environments.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
