Security Officer - Financial Campus Patrol

As a Security Officer - Financial Campus Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide outstanding customer service, and use technology to support your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for financial institution locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual circumstances.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of all individuals on the premises.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters and/or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
