Job Description




As a Security Officer - Armed Community Paramedic in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a premier residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the residential location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment for residents and guests.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents, patrols, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Assist residents and visitors by providing information or directions as needed, while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents as directed by site management or Allied Universal protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Must have a Paramedic Certificate
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
