As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations within the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, visitors, and/or patients as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials when required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders as situations arise.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately regarding incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
• Remain alert and observant to changes in the environment, promptly addressing any security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
