Project Manager

The Project Manager provides overall leadership, coordination, and oversight for all contract activities. This role ensures high-quality deliverables, staff performance, and effective communication with the client. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day matters, ensuring contract objectives are achieved on time and within scope.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Project Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.

Project Manager Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee all staff assigned to the contract, providing direction, guidance, and performance management to ensure successful execution of contract requirements.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with contract terms, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Serve as the primary daily point of contact for the client regarding all aspects of the firm's work under the contract.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, and priorities to meet established timelines and objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and deliver status reports, updates, and briefings to leadership and client stakeholders.
• Support contract reporting, documentation, and administrative requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Promote a collaborative team environment and foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, quality control processes, and regulatory or contractual requirements.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Project Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within government contracting or a similar environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing multi-faceted projects with complex deliverables.
• Strong client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
