MaineHealth is currently seeking a Clinical Manager - Practice Operations,Maternal and Fetal Medicine (MFM) - to supervise and oversee all operational aspects ofthe department, including clinical services and staffing needs. The Clinical Manager is responsible for coordinating the clinical workflow in order to provide the most efficient, effective, safe and comprehensive patient care. This Leader will have direct reports including RN and Administrative direct reports, and an ultrasound supervisor. Under the supervisor's guidance, this practice supports multiple (9) ambulatory practices ultrasound interpretation.

With a robust scope, we are seeking an experienced clinical leader to join our team. Our office location is in Portland Maine.

Summary:

This position is responsible for supervising both clinical and administrative staff, and coordinating the daily operations to ensure a smooth workflow and optimum productivity while maintaining patient, staff and physician satisfaction.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: BSN required.
  2. License/Certifications: Must have an active RN License with the ME Board of Nursing.
  3. Experience: Two or more years of hospital or outpatient clinic facility management/supervisory experience.
  4. Knowledge of medical facility procedures
  5. Knowledge and understanding of financials including AP and AR
  6. Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques
  7. Skills in planning, organizing, delegating and supervising
  8. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
  10. Strong computer skills
  11. Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and procedures
  12. Ability to maintain confidentiality
  13. Ability to effectively interact with patients, medical staff and the public
  14. Ability to maintain a professional manner even under stressful situations
