Total Rewards Coordinator

Job Summary

Serves as the primary point of contact for TDPartners on Total Rewards-related questions and resources, with a strong focus on leave administration. Will engage with Partners at all levels in the company and vendors to provide service and respond to requests. Provides communication, reporting and recommendations to improve departmental efficiencies. Ensures confidentiality of Partner data and company compliance with federal and state laws, and implements required communications.


Essential Duties

  • Administers all leaves of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, personal leaves), including:
    • tracking start/end dates and eligibility,
    • communicating with Partners, Managers, HRBPs and Providers,
    • partnering with Payroll to ensure accurate timekeeping and pay, and
    • handling premium collections during unpaid leave.
  • Manages the Total Rewards email inbox including handling timely, accurate communicaiton to Partners.
  • Maintain leave dashboards and reporting for HR leadership.
  • Monitor trends in leave usage and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensures benefits compliance and provides regular reporting updates to HRBPs.
  • Initiates LTD claims and coordinates with insurance representatives.
  • Supports daily administration activities of TDIndustries' benefit programs including health, dental, vision, flexible spending, life, disability, critical illness, and retirement.
  • Provides input into total rewards processes and actively shares on ideas on process improvements.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of process workflows.
  • May assist in providing assistance related to the company's well-being program as well as other Total Rewards initiatives.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is preferred.
  • 1+ years experience required
  • Must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish).

  • Must have some experience with a major HRIS system. Utipro/UKG & Workday experience preferred.

  • Leaves of Absence administration experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidential documents and information.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at one time under tight deadlines.
