Global Business Development Intern

The Global Business Development Intern will gain valuable experience on the market activities of API Global Industry Services' (GIS) programs and services, including the API Monogram Program, American Petroleum Institute Quality Registrar (APIQR), Individual Certification Programs (ICP), Engine Oil Licensing and Certification System (EOLCS), etc. The intern will get exposure to domestic and international assignments and will also gain a general understanding of API GIS footprint and key industry stakeholders.

Projects and Tasks

  • HubSpot assistance: which is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform that API uses to create quotes and interact with current and potential clients.
  • Market Intelligence/Research assignments for domestic or international markets.
  • Presentation material: assist in creating and consolidating slide decks to be used by the GBD Team.

Qualifications

  • Major or degree in Engineering, Economics, and Business Management/Administration.
  • Customer Support, Marketing, experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to remain in a stationary position working on a computer
  • Move about the office to access office machinery, meeting rooms, etc.
  • Operate a computer and other office machinery such as printers and copy machines
  • Transport items and equipment up to 25 lbs. on occasion
