We believe electricity powers modern life. As part of our Power sector, you'll help shape how electricity is generated, transmitted and delivered as global energy demands grow. From massive data centers to modernizing transmission systems, our industry-recognized engineers and scientists have been at the forefront of grid transformation for more than a century. You'll work side-by-side with these experts and contribute to reliable, resilient and sustainable power systems, helping communities thrive and industries expand. This isn't just a job, it's a chance to drive infrastructure forward, power innovation and leave your mark on our energy future.

You enjoy and seek out meaningful client, vendor and colleague relationships and are driven to expand the depth and breadth of how you can partner with them to solve industry and client specific challenges. You enjoy developing energy and power strategies, solving load and generation interconnection challenges like bridging power, on-site generation, microgrids, and behind the meter solutions for private clients as well as utility/generation asset owners. You are skilled at navigating the complexities and nexus between power and data centers. You are a great listener and can translate challenges presented into road maps and tactical plans.

  • Perform other duties as needed and have a specific interest in helping clients navigate processes and solve problems, regardless of the specific content.
  • Attend and participate in industry and client events to support HDR brand awareness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in power market and nexus between power and technology with rapid deployment requirements.
  • Experience supporting large demand customers such as data centers with infrastructure development.
  • Preferred experience working with a variety of client types including regulated and non-regulated utilities, independent power producers, municipalities, and other public and private clients.
  • Interest and experience with industrial clients, challenges, and evolving technologies.
  • BS or BA degree in Engineering, Business, Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience, including 3+ years in a development role in the power, industrial, and/or technology industry.
