Your role and responsibilities:

As an IS/IT intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Support Product and Service Delivery - Assist in the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the assigned area, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Collaborate Across Teams - Work closely with various teams to coordinate operations, understand customer needs, and contribute to effective solutions that meet project and client requirements.
• Engage in Professional Development - Participate in team meetings, seek feedback, and leverage mentoring, networking, and global/local development programs to enhance skills and career opportunities.
• Drive Process Improvement - Communicate with business stakeholders to understand existing processes and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for better project outcomes.

Qualifications for the role:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Information Technology or similar program in the United States and must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications, graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
