ANALYST, PRICING AND PROGRAMS
POSITION SUMMARY This position will collaborate with the finance team and DSV business leaders to lead pricing and program related analysis for the DSV Division inclusive of ensuring divisional financial practices and controls effectively integrate into BRP's broader financial governance. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Function as the primary analyst for the divisional leader inclusive of contributing to business case development, margin analysis, and creation/costing of sales programs. Work in conjunction with the DSV Commercial team and finance team to develop and implement pricing models, methods, structures, and tools. Ability to analyze industry trends and evaluate competitor pricing/sales programs to influence DSV commercial strategy. Provide a clear view of sales programs in terms of actual, forecast, and budget expenditures. Contribute and lead as required the review, preparation, and reconciliation of the related financial impacts of proposed pricing and programs on budget and margin. Assist in monthly, forecast, and budget margin preparation. Analyze margins and explain variances vs forecast and budget. Serve as the liaison between divisional Commercial, Operational, R&D and PMO divisional resources and the broader BRP finance function for Commercial programs during forecast, budget, and strategic planning activities. Capability to create, prepare, analyze and present financial data to stakeholders at all organizational levels. Track financial performance metrics, analyze trends, and monitor profitability to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years experience in cost accounting, financial reporting or a related field. Ability to work independently. Leadership, dedication, capacity to perform under pressure. Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting. Strong understanding of market trends, competitor strategies, and pricing principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail. Strong communication skills to present findings to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
