As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires driving as part of your responsibilities, allowing you to contribute to a secure and supportive atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations on campus in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus buildings and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control by observing entry and exit points and interacting with individuals as needed to verify authorization.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Collaborate with campus staff and local emergency responders as necessary to address incidents and provide assistance during emergencies.
• Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance, information, and directions to those on campus.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
