As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Entry in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible, while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations at the government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary based on the government site.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public, providing information or assistance as appropriate.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Follow all company and site-specific guidelines and instructions to help maintain a secure environment at the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
