As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies, including checking for proper authorization and reporting any suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily logs and/or reports as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
