What You'll Do:
  • Serve as a strategic partner to HR colleagues, business leaders, and employees by providing expert guidance on employee relations, performance issues, conduct matters, labor relations, and workplace concerns.
  • Advise leaders on corrective actions, investigations, separations, performance evaluations, and culture-building leadership practices to maintain positive employee morale.
  • Provide informed interpretation of HR policies and employment laws at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Counsel employees on workplace concerns and policy interpretation to support fair and transparent processes.
  • Represent the organization in collective bargaining activities, including negotiation, administration, interpretation, and grievance handling.
  • Partner with the Corporate Compliance Officer on HIPAA and regulatory compliance investigations.
  • Ensure HR programs, policies, and reporting procedures remain compliant with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Guide leaders in integrating effective HR practices into daily operations and organizational planning.
  • Review, update, and develop HR policies to maintain compliance and support organizational needs.
  • Support conflict resolution through facilitation, mediation, coaching, and alternative dispute resolution.
  • Drive engagement and cultural enrichment through leadership development and relationship building.
  • Establish strong strategic partnerships with key leaders to influence workforce decisions and organizational planning.
  • Audit employee and labor relations activities to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with employment practices in collaboration with HR and corporate teams.
  • Provide supervisory responsibilities as assigned.
  • Champion quality improvement, safety, cultural diversity, and a positive employee experience in all interactions.
  • Demonstrate consistent professionalism and courteous service to patients, visitors, employees, and medical staff.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, compliance standards, and organizational policies related to HR and employment practices.
What You Bring Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Seven to ten years of progressive HR experience, including organizational development, conflict resolution, complex employee relations, training, and facilitation-with clear examples of experience.

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations including OSHA, EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and related standards.
  • Understanding of current leadership and management practices as they relate to employee and organizational development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all organizational levels.
  • Ability to coach leaders to align decisions with organizational strategy.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and influence stakeholders to achieve results.
  • Ability to manage multiple business unit clients across multiple locations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
