Work Schedule:
100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are Monday - Friday, 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Medical Interpreter to:

  • Provide accurate and professional Spanish interpretation to UW Health patients, families and staff in a wide variety of settings and specialty areas.
  • Assist the Manager with daily operations such as scheduling interpreter appointments, processing interpreter payments and maintaining the interpreter database.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Post-high school related coursework/degree Preferred
Work Experience
  • 1 year of interpretation experience Required
  • Healthcare interpretation experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • National healthcare interpreter certification (CHI) Upon Hire Required
