Meet the Team
The Executive Assistant will report to and support the VP, Chief Audit Executive of Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC). GRC is a global team of approximately 50 internal audit professionals. We conduct audit and advisory services designed to add value and improve Cisco's operations by providing the Audit Committee and senior management with assurance as to the effectiveness and efficiency of risk management and controls throughout the company.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Calendar Management: Handles the Chief Internal Audit Executive's calendar by prioritizing schedules and meetings, including critical Audit Committee meetings and interactions with senior leadership.
* Audit Committee and Board Engagement Coordination: Manages all logistical and preparatory aspects for Audit Committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation and distribution, coordinating meeting logistics and technology, distributing highly confidential materials, and coordinating follow-up actions. Serves as a key liaison between the Chief Internal Audit Executive and the Audit Committee members.
* Meeting Planning and Organization: Assists the Chief Internal Audit Executive in planning and organizing meetings by being responsible for the assembling of agendas, location, meeting technology based upon participant needs, and all other meeting logistics. This includes securely managing highly sensitive materials, presentations, and briefing documents for internal stakeholders and the Audit Committee. May further prepare meeting briefing documents by taking and disseminating notes and formulating post-meeting action item lists.
* Travel and Expense Management: Responsible for making global travel arrangements. Carefully considers and decides the optimum travel arrangements and itinerary for calendared meetings while handling Cisco expenses.
* Technically Savvy: Possess a high degree of technical proficiency and use of Windows applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaborative meeting applications (Webex). Able to effectively solve problems when technical issues arise.
Minimum Qualifications * 4+ years' experience in administrative environment. A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting a principal who was at the director level or above. * Expert level knowledge of Windows desktop computer applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. * High degree of technical proficiency utilizing collaborative meeting applications: Webex * Experience in calendar management, planning meetings and coordinating travel. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to connect with all levels of Executive/Senior staff and clients.
Preferred Qualifications * Past work experience in the high-tech industry is desired, prior Cisco experience preferred. * Associates degree

The starting salary range posted for this position is $97,700.00 to $129,800.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits.
Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco's plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $90,200.00 - $135,900.00
