Description Acara Solutions has been providing aerospace firms with our staffing services for over 65 years. We currently have two contract, or a contract-to-direct Manufacturing Engineer openings at our national aerospace controls client in Valencia, CA. These are onsite positions. The contractor target pay rate range is from $50 - $75 per hour DOE.
We are seeking a highly skilled
Manufacturing Engineer with experience in
fluid systems to support
developmental aerospace and defense programs. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for components and assemblies involving hydraulic, pneumatic, and other fluid systems in compliance with DoD standards.
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering or any related field.
Min 5 years of aerospace manufacturing experience with at least 2 of those years in fluid systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, fuel systems).
Min 2 years of experience in defense or aerospace programs.
Min 1 year of experience with CAD (ideally Solidworks or Catia).
Min 3 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing (a plus to have Six Sigma belt/training)
This is an aerospace ITAR facility, U.S. Persons required (Green Card acceptable).
Preferred: 10+ years of experience
A plus to have AS9100 and MIL-Spec experience
