The Role: Senior Technical Contributor & Problem Solver

As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will be a hands-on engineer responsible for delivering high-impact features, driving engineering excellence, and contributing to architectural decisions. This role requires strong technical depth, a passion for emerging technologies (including AI/ML), and the ability to influence best practices across the engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Excellence:

  • Deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure features across the full development lifecycle.

  • Contribute to architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.

  • Uphold best-in-class standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability.

AI & Emerging Technology Enablement:

  • Research, prototype, and integrate AI/ML and emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities and performance.

End-to-End Feature Development:

  • Own the design, development, and operational readiness of services and features from concept to production.

  • Ensure solutions meet functional, performance, security, and compliance standards.

Quality Engineering & DevSecOps:

  • Partner closely with QE and DevOps to define test strategies, enhance automation, and support resilience and reliability practices.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and continuous improvement of our release processes.

Architecture & System Design:

  • Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to evolve the technical roadmap and system architecture.

  • Identify technical gaps, propose improvements, and contribute to long-term platform evolution.

Technical Influence & Mentorship:

  • Model strong coding standards, share knowledge effectively, and mentor junior engineers.

  • Foster an environment of innovation, transparency, and cross-team collaboration.

What You'll Bring

Required Experience & Technical Expertise

  • 8+ years of progressive software development experience with a strong track record building large-scale, distributed, web-based systems.

  • 8+ years Salesforce expertise required, with deep understanding of the Salesforce Platform and product suite (Sales, Service, Experience/Community, Marketing, etc.).

  • Experience Cloud & Slack Integration experience is required.

System Architecture & Integration Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of scalable architecture, design patterns, and LDV best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise integrations, including MuleSoft and other leading integration frameworks and tools.

AI / Emerging Tech:

  • Practical experience-or strong foundational understanding-of AI/ML technologies and how they can be applied to enterprise software.

Coding Proficiency:

  • Expert-level proficiency in multiple modern programming languages and frameworks, including:

    • Apex, Java, JavaScript, Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins pipelines, Agentic CI/CD, branching/versioning best practices).

Quality, Security & Operations:

  • Solid understanding of platform security: TLS/SSL, SAML, SSO, OAuth, and secure development best practices.

  • Experience with environment management, release management, and operational readiness.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Heroku.

  • Familiarity with analytics or BI platforms (e.g., Tableau).

  • Active and relevant Salesforce certifications.
