What to Expect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager, NPI to oversee and manage complex technical projects, driving the development and delivery of engineering solutions across various technical domains. This position is suited for an individual with a strong technical background who can effectively collaborate with cross functional teams, engineering teams, manage technical project lifecycles, and contribute directly to the design and implementation of advanced solutions. The role requires significant involvement in engineering tasks and technical decision-making. This role may have direct reports assigned dependent upon demonstrated ability and skills.


What You'll Do
  • Technical Project Leadership: Lead the execution of technical projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, timelines, and business objectives. Provide hands-on leadership in addressing complex technical challenges
  • Engineering Oversight: Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (e.g., software, hardware, systems) to design, develop, and deploy high-quality technical solutions. Ensure the technical feasibility and integrity of the project design and architecture. May lead small group of engineers to effectively launch new products
  • Technical Requirements Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and engineering solutions. Identify and assess technical risks and mitigation strategies
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, workflows, and practices. Implement best practices to optimize efficiency, quality, and scalability in the technical execution of projects
  • Risk Management: Evaluate technical risks and propose solutions for risk mitigation during all phases of the project lifecycle. Proactively resolve technical issues by engaging with engineers and architects to find viable solutions
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Facilitate communication and collaboration between development teams, architects, designers, and other technical professionals to ensure seamless execution of complex engineering projects
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including project plans, architecture diagrams, requirements, and change management records. Ensure proper documentation is available for compliance, audits, and future system enhancements
  • Innovation & Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and tools relevant to the engineering field. Assess new technologies for potential integration into ongoing projects and future product roadmaps
  • Design Review & Quality Assurance: Participate in design reviews and technical assessments to ensure the highest standard of product quality and performance. Support engineering teams in troubleshooting and debugging technical issues
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the primary technical point of contact for external vendors, partners, and stakeholders. Represent the technical vision and requirements within the broader project management and business leadership teams

What You'll Bring
  • Degreein Engineering (e.g., Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering), or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in managing and executing technical projects with a focus on engineering solutions
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional engineering teams in the delivery of complex, technical programs and projects
  • Strong technical background, with expertise in relevant programming languages, development frameworks, and engineering methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
  • Proficiency in technical tools for project management, version control, and collaboration (e.g., Jira, Git, Confluence)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with risk analysis, technical decision-making, and problem-solving in an engineering context
  • Familiarity with industry-standard engineering practices, coding standards, and software architecture principles

    Expected Compensation
    • Technical Program Mgr - $90,000 - $135,000/annual salary
    • Sr Technical Program Mgr - $111,600 - $167,400/annual salary
    + cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
