Overview

The Manufacturing Engineering Sr. Supervisor requires leadership abilities and knowledge of the engineering principles. The Manufacturing Engineering Sr. Supervisor is accountable for the management of an entire team of process and manufacturing engineers. They provide direction, training and assistance in order to make sure that their team is supporting the production targets and meets the highest quality standards. Key duties of the Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor include creating and implementing processes for production as well as evaluating and optimizing manufacturing systems, identifying problems, and implementing corrective measures. They also analyze data from production and monitor performance metrics and devise strategies to improve productivity while reducing costs. In addition to having technical expertise, the Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor must have excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. They must be able to efficiently manage tasks, resolve disputes and maintain contact with various stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing principles, safety regulations, and quality standards.Their knowledge and expertise contribute to the overall success of the manufacturing team as well as the entire organization.


Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of our dynamic engineering development team, you will design, develop and test sophisticated RF/Microwave Antennas and RF feeds. This will involve:
  • Oversee and manage the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the manufacturing engineering team, assigning tasks and monitoring progress
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and cost savings
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers to foster professional growth and development
  • Ability to use own initiative to 'troubleshoot' problems in Production areas

Qualifications

HOW TO SUCCEED

You combine a solid theoretical background in RF/Microwave theory with creative and critical thinking. To join us you'll need:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or production Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years' experience in electronics manufacturing
  • Computer literate using Microsoft software
  • Experience ensuring quality and lessons learned with flow diagrams, PFMEA's, control plans and quality inspection plans
  • Identifies and recommends new or improved manufacturing processes and technical developments
  • Drive and passion to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be creative
  • In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license) as this role requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Continuous improvement certification (LSSGB, LSSBB)
  • Extensive experience maintaining SAP
  • Experience leading teams
  • Active DoD security clearance

Salary Range: Senior Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor: $119,520.00 - $179,280.00 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
