Position Description

The Manufacturing Supply Chain Director for the Americas Region is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing a multi-site materials, planning, and logistics strategy that supports Modine's data center cooling solutions. This role oversees MP&L operations across multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring supply chain resilience, scalability, and alignment with corporate objectives. The Manufacturing Supply Chain Director will lead regional teams to optimize material flow, production planning, inventory management, and logistics, while driving cost efficiency and operational excellence. This position collaborates closely with engineering, operations, procurement, and quality teams to enable seamless product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a regional MP&L strategy across multiple sites, aligned with global supply chain objectives.
  • Lead multi-site materials management, production planning, and logistics operations to ensure on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise-level inventory control systems and material flow processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to support new product introductions (NPI) and capacity planning.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, logistics optimization, and lean methodologies.
  • Implement advanced planning systems and digital tools for demand forecasting and supply chain visibility.
  • Serve as the lead representative for all "Data Center Americas manufacturing" to the group SIOP process.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standards across all sites.
  • Develop and mentor MP&L leadership talent, building a scalable organization for future growth.
  • Monitor KPIs for service levels, inventory turns, and logistics performance; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Represent MP&L in executive forums and customer engagements, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Champion continuous improvement and 80/20 principles to simplify complexity and enhance agility.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in materials, planning, and logistics leadership within manufacturing
  • Proven success in managing MP&L functions across multiple sites or regions.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, advanced planning tools, and inventory control methodologies.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, 80/20 principles, and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, or other advanced supply chain certifications strongly preferred.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering or related field.
  • Master's degree or professional certifications preferred.
