Duct Work Helper Job Description

• Fabricate and assemble structural metal products according to job orders, verbal instructions, and/or blueprints.
• Develop, layout, and plan the sequence of operations, applying knowledge of trigonometry, stock allowances for thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and physical properties of metal.
• Locate and mark bending and cutting lines onto the workpiece.
• Set up and operate fabricating machinessuch aswelders, brakes, rolls, shears, flamescutters, and drill presses.
• Design and construct templates and fixtures.
• Verify the conformance ofwork piecesto specifications,using a square, ruler, and measuring tape.

Schedule & Pay

Monday - Friday | 6 AM - 6 PM | $14 per hour
