As a Security Officer - Unarmed Office Tower Patrol in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and granting access according to site policies.
• Support emergency response efforts as needed, following established procedures and communicating with emergency services when required.
• Interact with tenants, visitors, and staff to provide information and assistance as needed, helping to foster a positive and secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
