Assist in conducting transportation demand forecasting analyses, including travel demand forecast model estimation, implementation, calibration, and application, for development of travel forecast and planning scenarios. Will work with teams and will be involved in all phases of the technical work under the guidance of senior transportation planners and modelers. Responsibilities include:
The minimum educational requirements for this position are a Bachelors in Civil or Transportation Engineering and two years of experience in any suitable occupation related to transportation modeling. Education in lieu of experience will be accepted. Education or experience must include: Working with two or more transportation modeling packages (R, Vissim, Cube, EMME, TransCAD, and/or VISUM) Scripting in Python, VB, GISDK, EMME, or Cube Voyager Used ArcGIS, SQL or FoxPro, and Excel Statistical data analysis in Stata, R, or SPSS Computer programming in Java, C++, Python, R, C#, .Net, or JavaScript Passive data analysis Calibration and validation of mathematical models RATE OF PAY: $94,702.00 LOCATION OF EMPLOYMENT: 811 SW6thAveune Suite 1000.
