About The Position

This Executive Assistant is responsible for performing confidential office and administrative duties at the direction of the Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President, Financial Services & Continuous Improvement. The Executive Assistant may also assist with performing confidential secretarial and administrative duties involving the exercise of independent judgment, for the Vice Presidents, Directors and other office personnel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and organize for both the Senior Vice President Finance/Chief Accounting Officer's and Vice President, Financial Services & Continuous Improvement the activities within the company, the community and professional organizations. Perform other day-to-day activities including, but not limited to, schedule/calendar coordination, track continuing education credits, handling of internal and external confidential correspondence and information, coordination of meeting/travel plans and itineraries, and as appropriate, board support and coordination, serve as liaison between the Senior Vice President Finance/Chief Accounting Officer and reporting departments, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Monitor Senior Vice President Finance/Chief Accounting Officer email to bring time sensitive emails to the executive's attention as required.
  • Document, manage and follow-up on action items for Senior Vice President Finance/Chief Accounting Officer and the Vice President, Financial Services & Continuous Improvement, Ameren Services.
  • Assist in preparing presentations; developing spreadsheets; creating department-wide communications; and use of other related tools. Perform quarterly reporting tasks.
  • Coordinate activities related to compensation, personnel changes and performance connection discussions.
  • Serve as Corporate Credit Card Site Administrator and perform credit card reconciliation tasks. Assist with budget forecasting as required. Handle time reporting and back-up duties of TRIS administrator. Maintain mail distribution lists within Outlook and Teams.
  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the Vice President's offices and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior leadership. Provide back-up to other support/administrative personnel.
  • Work effectively as a team with the Finance administrative personnel to provide coverage on the Finance floor during regular business hours as needed. This includes escorting visitors, reserving conference rooms, maintaining a stock of supplies, mail distribution, kitchen duty and other duties as required.
  • Maintains confidentiality and uses a high degree of discretion.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university preferred. Five or more years of high-level administrative experience required. Three or more years' experience supporting a senior level executive preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams required. Proficiency in SharePoint, Workday, OneNote, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Co-Pilot preferred. Proficiency in the use of timekeeping software including TRIS is preferred. Ability to interact effectively with senior management required. Strong organizational and management skills required. Ability to work independently in a confidential manner and take a leadership role in various projects and activities also required. Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$60,200.00 - $90,300.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
