CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Construction Administration Architect to join our Buildings Team in Albany or Syracuse, NY and help deliver innovative, sustainable, and integrated building designs. This is your opportunity to lead complex projects from concept through construction, mentor emerging talent, and make a lasting impact on the built environment.



What You'll Do:

    Serve as CHA's primary point of contact during construction administration including overseeing customary management of RFIs, PCOs, submittals, and other CA activities
  • Lead the design and delivery of projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with government regulations, zoning codes, and industry standards
  • Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and sound architectural judgment in solving design challenges and advancing project goals
  • Manage all aspects of client relations, attending regular meetings and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle
  • Mentor and coordinate junior staff and project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Travel as needed to project sites and client meetings, supporting successful project execution


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional architectural experience required
  • Registered Architect license required; LEED accreditation preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, and/or AutoCAD required; knowledge of Photoshop and SketchUp preferred
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management abilities
  • Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and business practices related to architecture

Salary Range:

$112,500 - $137,500

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
