Description

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Project Compliance Coordinator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will provide administrative support of project planning, scheduling, application engineering, material and subcontract procurement to the Director of Installations, Installation Managers, Project Managers and/or others as required for the main task of license compliance and local permitting. What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

    • Manages licensing compliance across state, county, and municipal jurisdictions. Provides administrative support for installation teams ensuring that Convergint and CTC 475 maintain all required contractor licenses and verifies individual technician certifications necessary for installations. Coordinates efforts to obtain required licenses or engages qualified subcontractors when needed. Maintains knowledge of compliance requirements, including annual renewals and continuing education (CEU) obligations. Oversees the submission and updating of license applications




    • Determines certificate of insurance and permitting requirements for sales opportunities to accurately estimate permitting costs and timelines. Manages the permit application process, including submitting applications online and coordinating in-person filings when required by local jurisdictions. Engages local Project Managers or technicians to complete in-person submissions as necessary.




    • Attends weekly planning sessions; conducts weekly project paperwork reconciliation; may perform weekly timesheet data entry.




    • Responsible for administrative aspects of assigned projects from award through completion including, but not limited to, planning, scheduling, subcontractor and material procurement, installation, invoicing, and close-out.




    • Coordinate project requirements, related field tasks and activities with the Field Project Manager.




    • Maintains accurate and up to date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing internal and external reports.




    • Enters data for new projects and change orders into the accounting system




    • When required, coordinate with Design Team for project design requirements.



    * Act as "our customer's best service provider" by providing timely updates on project, quickly addressing concerns, and by regularly seeking feedback on our performance



    * Identify potential project risks and develop/implement strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.



    * Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements:

Education: High School/GED or equivalent.

Preferred Experience:



  • 2 - 3 years previous administrative support, construction process knowledge, or office management or related experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in maintaining and registering in industry state licensing programs.
