Summary: Nisga'a Tek is seeking a Graphic Designer IV qualified to combine graphics with animation to create multimedia content for eLearning, web, and videos/films.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Design and produce graphics in support training development courseware
- Provide technical knowledge and expertise on computer graphics, digital photography, videos, animations, sequencing, and audio/visual effects in various authoring and software packages
- Develop graphic user interfaces and designs illustrations for digital applications
- Use creative techniques to produce stimulating multimedia-based educational materials for adult learners
- Develop graphics for technology-based instructional programs, training manuals and instructor guides
- Design flows that are intuitive, elegant, and provide value for our end users
- Deliver production-ready designs and documentation and consult with instructional designers, developers, and subject matter experts to see designs through implementation
- Utilize and contribute to our organization's design brand
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Collaborate with other designers and cross-functional partners
- Conduct and participate in generative and evaluative user research with direct access to internal users
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable user insights for your team
- Have expert skills in visual/UI design and prototyping tools (including Figma or equivalent)
- Able to gracefully articulate and defend design decisions to peers, partners, and leaders; a storyteller
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 15+ years of related experience
- Experience designing responsive web applications and interfaces
- Experience with a variety of methods, including interviewing, observation, diary studies, card sorting, tree testing, task analysis, and surveys
- Multimedia development tools (Adobe Suite, Video Editing, 2D and 3D graphics, vector illustrations, and animations - motion graphics)
Pay and Benefits The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 to $90,000. At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
