Summary:

This position with the Business Development team will provide the candidate exposure and experience in both long-term Business Development as well as short-term Commercial Optimization of the Energy Transfer Texas, New Mexico, and Gulf Coast assets. The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to 1) understanding pipeline and fractionation asset operations in addition to upstream and downstream asset impacts, constraints, and value propositions in support of the NGL team, 2) interpreting existing contracts and assisting with contracting new deals, 3) assisting with daily reporting in conjunction with scheduling to support the entire NGL value chain 4) assist with underwriting capital projects, 5) assist with negotiating renewal and new customer business. This position will be a customer-facing role that engages both new and existing customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Constant interactions with the NGL team, including scheduling, storage, marketing and exports to collectively manage NGL positions across the value chain.

. Interactions with customers in support of the NGL team for existing and new business.

* Partners with customers to find common-ground solutions.

* Develops knowledge of Energy Transfers operations to help build relationships with customers and find new opportunities.

* Leverages internal and external tools to help analyze opportunities.

* Works with and coordinates activities across multiple departments.

* Analyzes nominations and system constraints to identify & recommend new opportunities.

* Conducts analysis of markets and how it impacts both our customers and downstream business.

* Understands the economics and valuation of different commercial structures and decisions.

* Prepares and interprets financial and economic models.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Bachelor's Degree.

* 3 - 5 years industry related experience.

* Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

* Advanced knowledge, skill, breadth and depth in the NGL and marketing concepts (as it pertains to area of specialization).

* Knowledge of financial concepts.

* Strong collaboration skills in order to partner effectively across various levels of the organization.

Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

* Usually, normal office working conditions.

* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

* Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
