Provides direct control of inventory material in support of a worldwide warehouse and distribution operation as required. Supports corporate and divisional goals of safety, security and dispatch reliability in a cost effective manner.

Essential Functions

  • Provides direct control of inventory material, supporting corporate and divisional goals, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing and maintaining staff work schedules.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and asset accountability of all aircraft/logistics materials received, stored and processed through purchasing and supply warehouse facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent in business, supply chain management or logistics. Must have ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years aircraft material related experience in material management, warehousing and distribution operations, tooling administration or logistics operations. Demonstrated experience with DOT, FAA, IATA and other requirements as applicable to all aircraft material warehousing and distribution operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of data processing methods and accounting principles as they relate to material mgmt. Must satisfactorily complete all required training including dangerous goods, initial receiving and suspected unapproved parts. Strong planning and analytical skills. Strong basic management, human relations and communications skills.

Job Conditions

Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations. Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence. Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Non-covered safety sensitive position; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
