StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join our Engineering team for an internship opportunity. As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.

Over the course of your internship, you will have the opportunity to: Determine and document the modification of products being processed for repair or overhaul to verify compliance to the applicable regulatory and customer requirements.

What you'll do:

  • Create Shop Aids for Engine Maintenance procedures

  • Participate in continuous improvement projects with engineers on Waterjet, Liburdi Welder, Plasma Systems and Vacuum Furnace repair processes.

  • Complete assigned projects related to the Engineering group/discipline

  • Review and/or create drawings and sketches of tools and fixtures

  • Perform engineering calculations, analyses, development of drawings and specifications

  • Assist with Tooling-related projects (e.g. New Tooling Fabrication, Tooling validation)

Position Requirements:

  • Seeking students/interns who are pursuing their Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

  • Strong attention to detail, with interest in process improvement

Software Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

  • CAD Software (AutoCAD or equivalent)

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Interpersonal Skills

  • Problem Solving Skills

  • Time Management Skills

  • Technical Writing Skills
