What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager - Technology Infrastructure (TI) Process, Risk & Control will be accountable to lead programs to seamlessly integrate risk management into daily operations via a robust Process, Risk, and Control (PRC) framework, fostering a strong risk culture to enable smarter decisions, accelerate control automation, and strengthen operational integrity while exceeding corporate and regulatory standards. This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-driven leader to transform risk management within Technology Infrastructure. What will you do?

  • Facilitates the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology-related risks.
  • Leads the design review and evaluation of IT controls, identifies and pursues automation opportunities.
  • Proactively supports risk assessment activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and standard, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborates with TI Organization and risk partners to document end-to-end technology processes, mapping risk and controls, and identifying control gaps / deficiencies.
  • Supports Technology Infrastructure Process and Control Owners during Control Testing, RCSA, 2LOD credible challenge and audit or regulatory examinations.
  • Monitors industry trends and regulatory changes to evolve risk-related programs and maintain proactive risk posture.
  • Develops risk dashboards and executive-level reporting to communicate risk posture and mitigation strategies.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in financial services
  • At least 7 years of experience in technology risk management
  • Deep understanding of technology risk frameworks, control design, risk assessment and regulatory requirements.
  • Ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and drive risk-aware decision-making.

Nice-to-have

  • Certifications: CISM, CRISC, COBIT, SAFe Agile. PMP
  • Project / Program Management

The expected salary range for this particular position is $110,000-$190,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
