We are seeking an experienced Patient Access Manager to lead and oversee patient registration and financial clearance activities across multiple hospital entry points, including ER, Radiology, Main Registration, Lab, and Medical Office Building. This role is the primary on-site leader managing a team of 20 direct reports. Key Responsibilities * Rotate on-call duties every other weekend with leadership team. * Prepare short- and long-term planning recommendations for registration processes. * Manage operational metrics to meet organizational goals, including Service Level Agreements and budget guidelines. * Oversee staffing activities: hiring, training, performance management, and staff engagement. * Mentor supervisors and foster team growth. * Enforce departmental policies and assist in developing new guidelines. * Communicate effectively with leadership and staff, providing feedback and solutions for improvement. Qualifications Must Have: * 3-5 years of healthcare supervisory experience (hospital or physician practice). * Strong understanding of admitting, clinical, financial areas, and revenue cycle management. * Ability to lead independently and handle escalations. * High School Diploma required; college degree preferred. Additional Skills: * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. * Leadership and management abilities. * Knowledge of healthcare information systems. * Familiarity with regulatory agencies and operational metrics.
