Medical Marijuana Compliance Inspector - Eastern Region

As a Medical Marijuana Compliance Inspector, you will inspect medical marijuana dispensaries, grower processors, and clinical registrants to ensure facility and operational compliance. You will conduct physical and administrative inspections of Medical Marijuana Organizations (MMOs) for adherence to regulatory regulations. You will also examine growing, harvesting, extracting, packaging, storing, transporting, handling, labeling, and distribution processes. This role requires keen observation skills and the ability to enforce regulations to ensure patients and researchers can access medical marijuana through a safe and effective product development and delivery system. In addition, you will inspect marijuana seeds and other processing materials for conditions that may lead to contamination, draft deficiency notices, review corrective action plans, and provide technical and administrative guidance to dispensaries, grower processors, clinical registrants, and affiliated contractors.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Travel: You will be expected to travel throughout Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware. Lackawanna, Lancaster, Lehigh, Luzerne, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia, Pike, Schuylkill, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming counties.
• Home Headquartered: This position is home headquartered. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year of technical or paraprofessional experience in regulatory compliance and regulatory inspection work; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

• You must be in possession of an active motor vehicle license.
