Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team, specifically focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities. This critical role will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of newly acquired businesses into our existing procurement framework, driving standardization, and optimizing supplier relationships across the newly unified enterprise.

  • M&A Procurement Integration Ownership:

    • Own the integration of suppliers and procurement practices as they relate to new M&A activities.

    • This includes detailed contract review, strategic vendor consolidation, and critical system integration of acquired procurement platforms.

  • Standardization and Optimization:

    • Drive standardization and improvement of the Procurement scope for all mergers and acquisitions.

    • Actively identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings within the integrated procurement functions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure successful M&A integration from a procurement perspective.

  • Best Practices and Compliance:

    • Develop and implement best practices for M&A procurement integration.

    • Ensure all integration activities maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Cultural and Team Onboarding:

    • Act as an ambassador for Motorola Solutions during the onboarding of employees of newly acquired businesses, fostering a positive and collaborative environment within the team.

Location: Employee must be based in the Greater Chicago Area with the expectation to be in office 3 days per week.

Target Base Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $155,000.00

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, finance, technology, or similar business field.

  • 5+ years of supply chain. procurement or similar business experience.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
