Responsibilities

  • Performs delivery of care following physical therapy plans of care and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice act in the State of Kansas.
  • Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
  • Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community.
  • Reports to the assigned leader of department.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in physical therapy.
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in State of Kansas.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and must provide an original driving record.
  • Driving record must not reveal any DUIs, speeding tickets, or accidents within the past two (2) years.
  • One (1) year experience in driving.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience.
