Summary The Port Captain is responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant operation of Manson's tug fleet. The Port Captain serves as a key liaison between vessel operations, equipment department, and shoreside management and plays a critical role in maintaining service reliability, compliance, and safety standards. Job Location Based out of our Seattle, WA office with routine travel to ports, terminals, and vessels along the West Coast. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Physical Demands Position is primarily an office position, performs work at a desk. The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use stairs, ladders, and step stools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to get onboard tugboats and other small boats.
