Reimbursement Case Manager - Onsite Training, Remote After Start Date: December 15, 2025 Contract Length: 3 months Pay Rate: $20/hr Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Mon-Fri) Worksite Location (for training): 2250 Perimeter Park Dr, Ste 300 Morrisville, NC 27560-8893, United States Work Arrangement: Onsite for training, remoteafter Role Overview The Reimbursement Case Manager (RCM) will act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement issues and manage day-to-day activities within reimbursement services, including benefits investigation, prior authorizations, and appeals support. This role ensures patients have access to prescribed therapies by coordinating coverage and financial aspects of healthcare services. Key Responsibilities * Complete medical and pharmacy benefit investigations. * Facilitate submission of documentation for prior authorizations, step edits, and appeals per SOPs. * Determine coverage availability and coordinate financial aspects of therapy access. * Maintain accurate records in compliance with standards and regulations. * Escalate complex cases per program guidelines. * Communicate therapy access restrictions, policy changes, and reimbursement updates to program leadership. * Understand health and disease states relevant to program patients. * Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards. Required Skills & Experience * Expert-level knowledge of reimbursement processes. * Strong understanding of major payers (private/commercial and government: Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DoD). * Proficiency in insurance verification, prior authorization, benefits investigation, provider claims. * Familiarity with Salesforce CRM. * Ability to handle outbound calls to payers, providers, and patients; inbound claims calls for copay submissions and reimbursement overflow. * Experience with pharmacy and medical benefits (heavier pharmacy focus). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Morrisville, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
